A Day In The Life of Freedom Central: December Vlog - Auction Day, Office Fun & Market Update

In December, Freedom Property Central was a hub of vibrant activity! From the thrill of the last in-room auctions for the year to the festive spirit in the office, the energy among the team was at an all-time high.

As they prepare to open their third location in Brisbane’s East in early 2024, led by Freedom Director Josh Sherwood, they are also opening their doors to film a series of vlogs documenting the process and sharing what it's like to work at this modern agency.

Auction Day Buzz

At the core of the excitement was auction night, led by esteemed auctioneer, Rob Doorey of Apollo Auctions. From registering buyers to setting reserves, our team's dedication ensured a triumphant outcome. The palpable enthusiasm from our motivated buyers was undeniable, with several properties not even making it to auction day, signalling a market brimming with vitality.

Preparing for the New Year Rush & Staying Ahead of the Competition

As the year drew to a close, apart from wrapping up deals for current listings, our agents were also on another mission: guide clients to prepare their homes for sale ahead of the imminent New Year listing surge. The mantra? Beat the competition by hitting the market first. This meant providing advice regarding renovations and styling, organising media shoots with our in-house team and setting dates for launch.

Auction Night Wrap-Up: The Grand Finale

The crescendo of the year was the in-room auction event, a roaring success that left sellers jubilant and buyers eager. The night wasn't just about impressive sales figures; it showcased the potential of auctions for sellers and buyers seeking an equitable, transparent process.

A massive $6.92 million worth of properties changed hands, headlined by standout sales like 6 Edgar Court, Alexandra Hills, sold prior at $850,000; 27 Venn Parade, Thornlands, sold prior for $1,750,000; and the remarkable $2,130,000 sale of 28-30 Parkwood Drive, Capalaba. Negotiations were in motion for several other properties, indicating promising future sales.

The auction event shone a light on the effectiveness of this transparent selling process, delivering exceptional results. It's no wonder Freedom Property Central stands out as Redland City's auction specialists.

Be sure to watch the video to see all the highlights. The team will continue to share their progress as they work together on their exciting new expansion to their third location in Wynnum.
