In the 3rd quarter of 2023, Freedom Property experienced a vibrant period of auctions, hosting a total of 15 auctions. Of these, 14 auctions resulted in successful sales under the hammer, one sold prior to the auction and another is now under contract following post-auction negotiation. This represents an outstanding clearance rate of over 93.3%.
One standout success during this quarter was the sale of 2 Willet Court, an enchanting acreage masterpiece located in the desirable suburb of Thornlands. This impressive property was marketed and effectively auctioned by Kristian Parker and Josh Sherwood during Redland City Central’s in-room auction event, ultimately fetching an impressive price of $2,250,000. The sale of this property underlines Freedom Property's expertise in the real estate market.
Opting to auction the prestigious home in quick succession was a decision that paid off, and the outcome serves as evidence of the achievements possible when agents work in collaboration to achieve results.

“Auctions create excitement and a sense of urgency among buyers. The vendors wanted the best possible price for their home and we believed auction was the best way to do this. The highest bid was $250,000 over the seller’s original expectations.”
Last month, five bidders registered for a shot at taking ownership of 4/66 Agnes Street, Birkdale. The spacious villa tucked away in a small complex of six and backing onto local parklands was brought to the market by Tomas Tonks-Foote and Thomas Rohm-Hurford. Auctioneer, Rob Doorey of Apollo Auctions, saw an impressive total of 12 bids before the gavel fell at a final selling price of $680,000.
Over the four-week marketing campaign, the villa received substantial attention with a total of 71 enquiries, its interest ranging from prospective homeowners to investors.
